When child has run out of Screentime (called Freetime in Mobicip world?), taking and making phone calls is still possible. Is it possible to allow text messages as well, when out of freetime?

Re: Can I allow SMS while screen-time blocked?
Yes, making phone calls is always allowed even during blocked screen time. However, allowing otherĀ apps during screentime block is not a feature offered by Mobicip, as of now.
If your child's device in an iOS device, you can make use of Apple's screen time setting to accomplish this, now that Mobicip is integrated with it. Add texting appĀ to "Always Allowed" list in iOS Settings > Screen Time > Always Allowed. This will ensure access to text app is allowed even during blocked time.
