I was just wondering how Mobicip works for streaming services like Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Instant Video.

Re: Netflix

Hello Amy

We are sorry for the trouble. Please note that Netflix has been doing a lot of non-standard stuff recently and their new http2 protocol is not currently supported by Mobicip. Our dev team contacted them and is actively working on getting a solution. We will get back to you with an update as soon as we hear from them.

I'm having the same issue of not being able to use Netflix.  It thinks mobicip is some sort of VPN.  Any solutions?

Netflix

Hello,

After reviewing the comments regarding Netflix issues, my question is: has any progress been made in compatibility between Netflix and Mobicip?

Thank you,

Rick George

Not to be rude, but based on

Not to be rude, but based on the comments from this page, this issue has gone unresolved for over a year and a half. Am I to understand that no progress has been made in over 18 months of active problem solving with Netflix? In spite of your reassurance that the dev team is working to resolve the issue, nothing has changed. It looks as though I should just assume that netflix will not be available in conjunction with mobicip, which is unfortunate.

Re: Not to be rude, but based on

Hello Evan
Please note that we follow a type of agile methodology to manage our development, and it works great for innovative work. However, the downside is that it is difficult to predict when a product will be ready to ship. Please bear with us and we will make it available as soon as it is ready, but no guarantees on the timing yet.
