Maybe I don't understand the filtering levels correctly so i thought I'd post this question. Elementary is supposed to block news sites (MSNBC.com, USATODAY.com, etc.) and Middle School does not state that news sites are blocked, but I still can not access news sites on my childs iPod touch when set at the Middle School level. Am I misunderstanding this setting or is it not working correctly?
Side note: Love the product. My wife and I got the shock of the week yesterday when my 8 year old daughter said she had Googled "sex". That prompted the parental controls search that led me to Mobicip. I've tried it on a few sites that I would suspect should be blocked and it worked well. No filter is perfect, but this gives me some peace of mind if it removes the bulk of the nasty stuff so we can talk to our children about it first instead of them getting bad information online.

Filtering level change
Hello intheshelter
Thanks for getting in touch with us and also for your kind comments. We feel strongly about this issue too, and it is absolutely gratifying to hear that you like the product.
There is a time delay when the filtering level change is propagated to our servers. Usually the update should be completed within an hour. Please check the sites you mentioned after waiting about an hour.
If it still doesn't work, do get in touch with us and we'll troubleshoot the problem.
Thanks

I'll check tonight
Thanks for the quick response. I'll check it tonight and see how it's working.
A quick clarification, was I correct in my assumption that news sites should be accessible via the Middle School setting?

Yes, you are right. News related websites should be allowed for the Middle School level.
