Hi my kids have enjoyed playing on minecraft for some time now, but since i put Mobicip on the computer they have not been allowed to access the game.  I have tried to put the url's into the whitelist, but it stil does not allow access to the game.

I notice that the url for the game updater http://mcupdate.tumblr.com is filtered out as Porn!

Any help getting my kids back onto minecraft would be welcomed.  If we cannot over come the problem, I may have to request a refund...

Many thanks.

Re: Minecraft?

Hello Rob
We are terribly sorry for the delay in getting the Windows update ready for your use. This issue is fixed in the new version. Please be assured that our engineers are working doubly hard to get this version out the door. We ran into a number of unexpected engineering problems (some of which we needed help from Microsoft to resolve) and that is the only reason for the delay. There is no lack of intent or urgency here, it is just that some engineering problems are complex and require time to investigate and fix.

The update is in the QA process to make sure it is of sufficient quality to be delivered to you. It is a matter of days at this point. You have waited patiently for so long. Please bear with us a few more days and we will let you know as soon as the update is available.

Minecraft not working with beta version.

I have installed the 64-bit Windows 10 beta version my desktop and am unable to use Minecraft with it unless I disable Mobicip. I wanted Mobicip to know it still isn't working because it seems that the developers think it has been fixed.

Minecraft does not work

Hello, we recently purchased your software. Firstly it is extremely slow when connecting to your servers and takes a long time to access profiles etc on the website.

More importantly it blocks Minecraft online gaming (multiplayer) and does not allow us to access Minecraft servers. This is the primary game our kids play - as do all of their friends. I see you have not resolved this issue for two years! If so we want a refund on our purchase.

Re: Minecraft does not work

Hello Wayne
It appears that you contacted our Email Support reg this issue and got refund for your purchase. We are sorry for the undue delay in fixing the Minecraft problem.

There are two reasons for the delay.
1. A new version of Mobicip was in the works and we expected Minecraft problems to be fixed in the update. While 90% of the issues were fixed and most users seem to have it functioning without problems, there are some lingering issues like the one you are seeing.

2. The update was released in December. Once users reported that the issue is not resolved, we have been making every attempt to reproduce it on our end so we can fix it. We have contacted the Minecraft team several times. The first response we got was after a 4-week wait. We have since requested them several times to allow us to purchase a license or give us a free trial so we can troubleshoot the problem. But Minecraft support continues to deny that any problem exists on their website or app and has not been forthcoming with support. The last answer we got is, "We're unfortunately unable to investigate this further." Whatever that means. We tried to contact their payment processor who simply washed their hands off the issue as well.

As you can see, we are doing our best to address this issue on your behalf. We will continue to make the attempt and will not give up. If you could, please send an email to Minecraft and stress the importance of working with us to resolve this issue. A customer's direct feedback would go a long way towards raising the priority of this issue.

Re: any update?

Hello Arod
This is the latest response we got from the Minecraft development team around May end:

=====
Hey,

I'm the developer responsible for the Minecraft launcher. Nice to meet you!

I installed your application and took a quick look, it seems that when using your proxy I get the following exception in Java:
java.net.SocketException: Network is unreachable: connect
This is a common issue in Java when it tries to connect using the computers IPv6 stack (default if present) but fails. If I force Java to use the ipv4 stack (-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true) it works, which confirms this.

Sadly we can't workaround this by forcing that setting for everybody, as some people have the opposite problem (IPv6 works, IPv4 fails). Fortunately, however, we're soon replacing the current Java launcher with a native one written in C++ and that seems to work perfectly with your proxy! We're hoping to release this in about two months.

I'm sorry that I couldn't give a more immediate solution to the issue, but I still hope this helps.

Thanks,
Nathan Adams

As you can see, the issue can and will be fixed by Minecraft. Our hands are tied in this regard. We will keep you posted on any updates.
