Message: Hotspot detected

recently we went on vacation where we had hotel wifi. Ever since we got back both my kids phones and their tablet say "hotspot detected. Could not connect to Mobicip servers."  I have tried adding Mobicip.net to my router controls but cannot seem to reset the Mobicip app. Please help. I have only had this service for a few weeks and I am already very frustrated as it is currently not letting my kids use the internet at all.

The hotspot mode is meant to pop-up when you are on a network that requires an agreement or login. If your network does not have such a feature, it probably means that your network is being filtered already. Please configure the filtering to allow the following domains:
mobicip.net
mobicip.com
This will ensure that traffic to Mobicip's servers is allowed uninterrupted. It should also solve your hotspot mode problem.
 
If you have our latest version of our app, then you will be able to turn this off by going to Settings >> turning OFF the option 'Check for Hotspots'. Also make sure that the time, date and time zone are set correctly on the device.
 
In case the issue still persists, let us know and we will investigate further asap.
