My son has been asking me to allow him to jailbreak his ipod touch. Can someone tell me the pros and cons to allowing this? Would I still be able to force the use of the mobicip browser?
We certainly don't recommend it since it opens up complete administrative control of the software on the device. Having said that, a good percentage of devices protected by Mobicip are jailbroken ones. So it may be possible to allow it if you can get your son to agree to the ground rules.
