Since there is no option to time restrict use of apps, we have used the "allow once" selection when our son is playing a game on his Kindle Fire and then set a timer. However because it kept asking over and over to enter the code, I selected "always allow" while on a road trip. Now I want to change it back but can't find any control to configure app access. If it's in the App Monitor, there are no instructions in the help for Kindle Fire set-up (only IOS), and the instructions for IOS don't work (There's no list of devices when I select "App Monitor").

I accidentally hit always
I accidentally hit always allow for the settings on my child's device. Did you figure out a way to change that?

Sure, you can allow/block any app anytime through your account. Please login to your Mobicip account > Click Family > Configure for specific child user > Mobile apps > search for settings and block it.
