Hi,
I want to exclude certain applications from my daughters ipod touch app store browser. Mobicip appears to be preventing her from downloading or purchasing the stuff i have restricted but it doesn't stop it appearing in the list of valid apps available. I do not want her to see some apps in the entertainment category for example Beautiful Boobs that has an accompanying description with it. She can't access or downlaod it but can't you prevent it from being listed altogether based on the age rating or category?
Thanks for your help.

Disable installing apps for now
We have heard from other users about this issue, and here is what we recommend.
1. Install all the apps you need, and then disable the installation of new apps by selecting
Settings > General > Restrictions > Installing Apps > OFF.
For now, discuss this with your child and have him/her request you to unlock the App Store if and when required.
2. Contact iTunes Customer Support and let them know that you are concerned about this issue. Click here, then select App Store > Troubleshooting Applications > Email us
We are fairly confident that Apple will address this issue very soon.

Thanks for the reply, I'm glad ITunes customer support are aware of the issue, I think I've already contacted them about this but I'll check and do so if not.
Yesterday I decided to go ahead and download an app for her by temporarily disabling the app download function. It worked fine and she liked a game suddenly appearing on her ipod.
Ideally she needs to be able to browse herself but, for me anyway, thats in Apples hands until they can create a true "child friendly shopping window" as oppossed to a "child friendly purchasing window" which is what it appears at the moment.
Many Thank for the help and this product.
