Forums:
Hello,
We have started receiving some feedback from our testers, so I thought I would start a discussion forum for users to add feature requests. While our initial efforts have been to provide a functioning, yet basic solution to the marketplace, we would love to learn which features our customers want the most; that way we can prioritize which improvements to work on for upcoming releases. Feel free to add to this thread; while you may not get an immediate response, know that we will be monitoring this thread closely.

Re: Time Limits
Just to clarify, are you working on device time limits or only internet time limits? I'd really like to be able to lock down the iPod Touch completely, not just internet, during certain hours by day of the week. I have not been able to find any app with this capability.
Thanks.

Re: Time Limits
You are absolutely correct. We are only able to set Internet access time limits for Mobicip's Safe Browser app. Apple's iOS SDK does not allow us to setup controls for the overall device usage itself. You will probably not be able to find any other app with this capability at this time.
Please bear with us and we will post an update here as soon as the Time Limits feature goes live.

Re: Time Limits
Ok Folks! Please accept our profuse apologies for being almost 5 months late with this feature. We've been waiting to say this for quite some time now - Time Limits is now live!
Mobicip's WebMonitor Premium users can now setup time limits for Internet access by following the link below
http://www.mobicip.com/portal/settings/time_limits
Please bookmark this link in your browser as there are no navigational links to this page at this time from the WebMonitor portal. Based on the feedback we receive from this beta rollout to the interest list, we will make the feature widely available to all Premium users.
Please try the feature and let us know how you like it. Your feedback is much appreciated and will help us improve the feature for all users.

Ability to add Bookmarks to home screen & relate the browser
I would like to request the following features
1. Ability to add Bookmarks to iPhone home screen like you can in safari when you click on the plus icon to add a site as a bookmark.
2. Ability to relate the mobicip browser as the default browser instead of safari, so that when you click on links within other iPhone applications or when you click on a hyperlink in an email, the mobicip browser comes up and takes you there instead of the link not working because the safari browser has been disabled via restrictions.

Re: Ability to add Bookmarks to home screen & relate the browser
Thanks for submitting your requests here.
Apple does not allow us to relate the Mobicip browser to links from other apps. The SDK does have a provision for this, but it has never worked ever since the first version. So there isn't much we can do until Apple resolves that problem. The ability to add bookmarks to the home screen is related to this limitation. We are not given the privileges needed to implement something like this. However, we are working on a visual bookmarks feature where you will be able to save bookmarks as icons, and Mobicip will show these icons when launched.
Full screen browsing is another feature that has been requested by our users. This is a little tricky to implement as it causes a few stability and usability problems. We continue to plug away at these features and will post an update here as soon as they become available.
Your feedback is much appreciated and it really helps us prioritize and tackle these requests one by one.

Re: Ability to add Bookmarks to home screen & relate the browser
Hello, was wondering if this limitation has since been resolved by Apple, and whether the link connections may be possible in a future release. Thanks.

Ability to add Bookmarks to home screen additional info
Also one more note about the Ability to add Bookmarks to home screen, when you click on the icon on the home screen, we want it to have the ability to open up mobicip browser in full screen just like safari does, thanks.

I agree
This is my initial frustration with the browser. I use a lot of google apps that I liked having bookmarked through Safari on the home screen
