Deleting Mobicip from Samsung

Forums:

  • Technical Support

First off, when I try to open Mobicip, i get an error saying an internal error occured and some garbage about making sure I have a good connection to the internet. This happened when I upgraded my system software. Not been able to get it to work since then

So I try to turn it off as Device Admin and when I do that, the screen goes black. I hit the side button and it comes back butit did not turn Mobicip off as device Admin. And I cannot uninstall until I get the device admin turned off.

I do not mind it and would like to put it back on but this is becoming a hassle.

Help please,

Brad P.

Re: Deleting Mobicip from Samsung

Hello Brad
A temporary glitch on our server could have caused the internal error issue. We suggest that you give it a try now and check if it works fine. If the issue still persists, please let us know and we will investigate further asap.

Reg your other concern - Please let us know your device make/model and the OS version running on it for further investigation.

Nope, it still give the "Internal Service Failure" "An internal error occured. This can be caused by a lack of network connectivity. Please make sure you have a good network connection." When I click OK, a screen pops up quickly that says "App Not Owned" but disappears before I can read what it says.

samsung issue

I have a samsung cell phone that I want to uninstall the mobicip app.  It will not allow me to deactivate, just as Brad said happened to him.  What needs to be done to resolve this issue?

Re: samsung issue

Hello Ben
There are three ways to uninstall Mobicip (or any app) from your Android device.
1. Touch the Menu icon in the home screen. It should be an icon with three dots or lines either at the bottom left corner of the device or at the top right corner on the screen (next to Apps/Gadgets). You should see uninstall/disable apps option.
2. Go to the Settings app (the Gear icon) in your device > General tab > Application Manager > Mobicip > 'Uninstall'. This option can be greyed out if Mobicip restrictions is enabled in the device.
Please refer this forum post to disable this option:
3. Launch Mobicip app > Menu > Settings > Uninstall Mobicip.

You will need to enter your Mobicip account info for uninstalling the app - email id registered with Mobicip and the respective password.
