Hi
Could you please provide clear instructions to me on how to block apps and also how to bookmark in the browser?
The instructions for both that I have found do not seem to work.
Please confirm the device type you are using (iOS or Andriod) and we will guide you further accordingly. In case of iOS devices, you will not be able to block other apps through Mobicip. That is possible in Android platform though. You can block any app installed in your Android device through Mobicip App restrictions. Please launch Mobicip app > Menu > Settings > Mobicip > App Restrictions > check the box next the specific app.
Reg your other concern - You can bookmark your favorite websites by touching the '+' icon at the bottom of the iOS app. In Android version, go to Mobicip app Menu and touch on the star icon to bookmark your current webpage.
Mobicip not requiring password to launch Chrome or Youtube on android device. Both these apps are selected as "password protected" in "App Restrictions" in the mobicip app.
Please confirm your device make/model as that could be the cause of your issue. There are some known issues with Sony/Huwaei/Alcatel devices because of the way Android OS in modified and installed in them.
You can also try to delete and reinstall the app and check if it helps.
I'm I right in understanding that Mobicip does not allow you to actually block apps on IOS (Apple) devices? The feature does not seem to be working on my Son's phone when activated from my mobile and the desktop version of Mobicip and it is indicated in this thread that it does not work for IOS.
If this is the case it seems absurd, given the product is pitched as a solution to the issues of mobile phone management and the Mobicip website has what looks very like ISO devices on it.
