After checking the Trust options this error comes up:
certification authority import error "The file contained one certificate, which was not imported: Mobicip Filter Intermediate CA: Certificate already exists.
How do I fix this problem and get certificate installed?
Also how do I " unhide " the Mobicip app from the chrome browser?
We believe that you have already imported the required certificate. Hence the issue. To check the same, please go to chrome://settings/certificates > Check if any certificate named 'Mobicip' is available under Certificate Manager > Authorities.
My error is saying the same thing, certificate already exist. However it is not listed. I did have Mobicip on my admin page and took it off then added it to my sons own user page. It has completely locked up his page continuing to say needs certificate then when I try to download it the message turns to certificate already on file. Very frustrating that I have to wait for someone to reply to a message to have a functioning computer.
Please try the following and let us know the results.
1. Delete Mobicip extension from the Chrome browser
2. Update the Chrome Browser (if an update is available)
3. Delete all the Mobicip related certificates under Authorities in Chrome://settings/certificates if delete option is available.
(If Delete option is not available you can ignore this step)
4. Delete any files with name MobicipCA.pem or similar from the Downloads folder (Go to Chrome://downloads > Click 3 dots > Open downloads folder) in Chromebook
5. Install the Mobicip extension again from the Chrome Webstore.
6. Check whether any CA certificate is there in Authorities section with this name: The one with the above name is the new/latest certificate & if it is present you needn't do anything.
7. If the above CA certificate(one with exact same combination of name) is not present, then download the MobicipCA.pem file from the newly installed extension & follow the steps mentioned in page to install it in the Authorities section.
We are sorry for the trouble you are having. This issue occurs when you try to import the certificate under 'Your Certificates' tab. You should be importing it from Authorities tab.
We suggest you to give one more try and check if it helps.
Please follow the beleow steps to import the certificate, once downloaded.
1. Go to chrome://settings/certificates
2. Click on 'Import' in the path Certificate Manager > Authorities
3. Select the downloaded certificate and click open.
4. Choose the option 'Trust this certificate for identifying websites' and click Ok.
In case the issue persists, please send us an email with the screenshot of the specific error page and we will investigate further.
The solution to your issue is already mentioned in this thread. We are copy/pasting it for your reference:
