Using Different Profile Filters for Different Times of Day

Is it possible to use the Child1 Filter Profile from 8am to 10pm and use the Child2 Filter Profile from 10pm to 8am?

I would like to set up my child's account so that it is more restrictive during the night and less restrictive during the day.

Is that possible?

Thanks much,

Mike P

Re: Using Different Profile Filters for Different Times of Day

If you wish to have multiple user profiles on same device, you can create additional profiles in your Mobicip account. Login to your Mobicip account at www.mobicip.com >> Filter Profiles >> Add Profile. Select the user name and filtering level. Allow some time for this change to take effect on the device.

To swap between the profiles, launch Mobicip app on the device >> touch the Gear icon for Settings >> select current user profile >> enter your email and password for authorization >> select the appropriate user profile in the following page >> Done.

Please note that device - child user mapping has to be done at your end on the devices itself. Launch Mobicip app on the device >> touch anywhere on the screen > touch the action icon at the bottom tray >> then Gear icon for Settings >> select current user profile >> enter your email and password for authorization >> select the appropriate user profile in the following page >> Done.

For Android device - launch the Mobicip app, go to Menu > Settings > Mobicip > User Settings. Here you can choose the appropriate user profile for the device.

nope

I too would like to see time-based policies, that allow different levels of blocking/filtering for different times of the day - for the same user/device profile. Having to switch profiles is not a usable solution.

Imagine this scenario:

9am-4pm Profile 1 : "at school" -block social media sites
4pm-7pm Profile 2 : "Homework" time: whitelist school wiki and educational categories
7pm-9pm Profile 3 : "free" time default filtering by category
9pm-9am Profile 4: "Bedtime" no internet access

We need this kind of flexibility, and adding it would make yours a superior solution.

This should be possible with a few tweaks to the way you guys assign profiles.
