Re: Uninstall

Hello Stacy,
If you are using Mobicip on an iOS device, simply touch and hold the Mobicip icon until it starts shaking. You will see an x next to the icon, touch the x and the app will be deleted. If the x doesn't show up, you may have turned off the ability to delete apps. Go to Settings >> General >> Restrictions and select Deleting Apps >> ON. Then come back to the home screen and you should be able to delete Mobicip now.

In case you are using an Android device, please launch Mobicip Safe Browser > go to Menu > Settings > Mobicip > Uninstall Mobicip. Enter your passcode to remove the app.

Please refer the steps given this link for assistance.

Re: My phone will not allow me to

Hello Brynna
If the x doesn't show up, you may have turned off the ability to delete apps. Go to Settings >> General >> Restrictions >> enter your 4 digit restrictions passcode and select Deleting Apps >> ON. Then come back to the home screen and you should be able to find the x button upon pressing and holding an app (you cannot delete any default apps though).

uninstall

I cancelled my service. however I can't get mobicip off my daughter's phone.  The lettering on the button on the settings for uninstall is light and the button is nonfunctional.  When I tried the usual method of tryign to uninstall by moving the icon off the screen I got the "administrator" message. I've already ununstalled it off my own phone

Re: uninstall

Hello Mark
Please note that there are three ways to uninstall Mobicip (or any app) from your Android device.
1. Touch the Menu icon in the home screen. It should be an icon with three dots or lines either at the bottom left corner of the device or at the top right corner on the screen (next to Apps/Gadgets). You should see uninstall/disable apps option.
2. Go to the Settings app (the Gear icon) in your device > General tab > Application Manager > Mobicip > 'Uninstall'. This option can be greyed out if Mobicip restrictions is enabled in the device.
Please refer this forum post to disable this option:
3. Launch Mobicip app > Menu > Settings > Uninstall Mobicip.

Try the other two steps that are mentioned above and check if it helps. Otherwise we will be happy to assist further.

Waiting for it to finish downloading

Hi I am stuck it is waiting to finish downloading. Frozen. I can get the x to delete the app and prompt comes up warning me that it deleting it will delete its data. I hit delete and it doesn't delete it. I have delete apps turned on so that isn't the issue. Help. I paid for the premium version and can't even load it successfully

Re: Waiting for it to finish downloading

Hello Jo

It appears that you contacted our Email Support reg this concern.
We are copy/pasting our reply here so that it will be helpful for others as well:
'If you see "waiting" but the app fails to download, there may be some issues with your device or the network. Unfortunately, these are issues unrelated to Mobicip directly, but we are happy to offer our suggestions.

The first step is to turn off the device completely and turn it back on. If that doesn't fix the problem, then it could be a router issue.
You can refer this thread in Apple discussion forum.

If none of these solve the problem, you should contact Apple directly. You may visit the Genius Bar at the local Apple retail store or contact Apple through this website.
