Receiving Error Message "The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be f7.mobicip.net ....." So what do I do?
We are sorry for the trouble you are having. We are not sure how exactly this happened, but other users have reported this issue when there is a crash on the device. Our dev team is investigating the issue and we will post any updates regarding this as soon as we know more.
The good news is that there is an easy way to fix the issue. Please delete and reinstall the app on your device by following the steps below.
Touch and hold the Mobicip icon until it wiggles, then delete. Launch the App Store on the device and search for Mobicip. Touch the $4.99 button and select BUY NOW. Use the same iTunes account that was used to purchase Mobicip before, and you will not be charged for the repurchase.
Please send an email to Mobicip Support if the above did not resolve the issue and we will investigate further asap.
I deleted Mobicip on my Ipod and went to buy it again and it is not showing up in the App store. When I type in Mobicip there is no App. Now I have paid for it, but can't re-download it to my device. Why can I not access the App?
We are extremely sorry for the trouble you are having. We tried searching for Mobicip on the iTunes app store and we do see the app in the search results page. Can you please give it one more try and see if you get the app in the search results? Please try searching for 'Safe Browser' as an alternative in case you have issues searching with the keyword 'Mobicip'.
I'm facing the same issue (invalid certificate) described above.
After deleting and re-installing the app onto my iPhone, I was able to gain access to various web sites for a while, but the same issue surfaced again a few hours later.
We are sorry for the trouble you are having. We suggest that you try the following steps and check if it resolves the issue.
1. Double press the home button in your device
2. The apps that are currently running will be displayed at the bottom
3. Press and hold Mobicip icon and remove it from there
4. Then come back to the home screen by pressing the home button once
By performing these steps, you are actually killing the app (like we 'End Program' in Task Manager in Windows) and relaunching it.
Then launch Mobicip app and check if you are able to access the app without any issues. If the problem still persists, please let us know and we will investigate further asap. We really appreciate your help and patience as we work towards your satisfaction.
