It is my understanding that on the high school setting that the user will have access to youtube, but the videos will be filtered based on content. I just set up my account today, with high school level. We downloaded the app on my son's ipod touch. He is not able to get to youtube at all on the browser. Is this a bug, or by design?

Frustrated with Youtube
I cannot get access to videos on Youtube for my son's ipod touch. I have followed the instructions that mobicip placed in their blog, and it doesn't work. I can get into the Youtube site, and search for specific videos, but then none of the videos can be played. I can't even open videos that are considered "child friendly". All videos are blocked. I have also been "kicked out" of mobicip a few times, when trying to search Youtube. I noticed, from reading articles in the blog and also this forum, that this has been an issue for customers since mid- 2009. When is this bug going to be fixed? This is very frustrating.
YouTube Filtering Issues

You need to enable the default YouTube app on the iPhone in order to play videos through Mobicip's browser. You can do this by setting
Settings > General > Restrictions > YouTube > ON.
We have tried to make this clear in the tutorial and previous discussions as well. Here is an excerpt:

Any idea as to when this "bug" is going to get fixed
Allowing access to YouTube
Hello Brenda
Thank you for contacting Mobicip.
YouTube is being blocked because of a bug in our system. We are in the process of submitting an update to Apple that includes a fix for this issue. Meanwhile, we recommend that you use the default YouTube application to allow access to content, but obviously it will be without any filtering in place.
We hope to resolve this issue soon. I will keep you posted when the update is available on the App Store.
Thanks
