Is it possible to hide the address bar?

Is it possible to hide the address and navigation bars?  The Itouch screen is small enough without losing 25% of the screen to the tool bars.

Hiding address bar causes other problems

Early users may remember that we used to minimize the address bar in the first and second versions of Mobicip's safe browser. It worked pretty well, but it was causing some other issues on the page itself, like a gray box around every link visited that will not disappear after you navigate away from the page. This was due to a limitation in the functionality exposed to developers by Apple, and we couldn't fix the problem after much trying. That is why we decided to take that functionality out.

If we were to make the address bar disappear completely, then we are worried if it will be intuitive for users to figure out how to bring it back. In Safari, all you need to do is scroll up or touch the title bar, but we are not allowed to support that. In our case, we will need to bring the address bar back some other way. There are some other browsers for the iPhone that bring the toolbars back upon touching the screen or shaking the device. If you have any suggestions along these lines, please feel free to post a comment.

We will see what we can do.
